♡ FEBRUARY BEAUTY BUYS ♡

Sunday 28 February 2016

Wow this month has flown by, can't believe we're 2 days away from March! Which is going to be a very busy but fun month for me. On to what you came to this post for, these are some of my favourite beauty purchases from this month.

FACE

Seventeen "Phwoarr Paint" Concealer

I was in a rush after work on Friday to fetch some make-up and head home and get ready for a birthday dinner, so I went into Boots did a quick scan and ended up going with their "3 for 2" on Seventeen products offer. I'd never used anything from this brand before, but most of their products are under a tenner and are of good value. This concealer cost me £6 and works just as well as my previous MAC one, more so it comes in a cream formula which makes it easier to apply and gives you more coverage.

Seventeen "High Drama" Liquid Eyeliner

The pen is a good size in that it's not too thin that it's easy to make a mistake, but you won't end up looking like Amy Winehouse either. It's an intense black and is great for winged eyeliner.

Seventeen Long Wear Primer

Being completely honest, this is probably the first primer I've ever bought. Admittedly it's not the best in terms of texture as you need a lot of it to actually spread it evenly, but it does the trick.

Lush Candyfloss Lip Scrub

I live by these, especially in cold miserable winter. I sadly ran out of my "Santa" one so needed a replacement and this literally tastes good enough to eat (good news is it's totally safe to, so eat away).  They also do a great job at exfoliating your lips and getting rid of any dry peeling skin. They're £5.50 and usually last around 2 to 3 months.

BODY

Grounded Chocolate Orange Coffee Scrub*

I was kindly given this by founder Tasha who appeared with this product on Dragon's Den. This product is filled with Robusta Coffee (and comes in an assortment of smells, this one making me feel like a Terry's Chocolate Orange, yum) which is full of caffeine and comes with heaps of benefits. It dilates blood vessels, decreases water retention and increases circulation in the body, leaving your skin smooth and is known to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

A lot of people may simply use their Nescafe from their cupboard, but this product contains 2X the amount of caffaine and contains other essential vitamins such as Vitamin E, also removing the appearance of stretch marks.

I've only been using this scrub for a month, 3 times a week - and I've already noticed an increase in the appearance of my skin, not to mention it smells delicious - just don't eat it or use it as your wake up morning drink.

Lush Bath Bombs

I haven't used a bath bomb since I was like 14, but I popped in to Lush (to buy my lip scrub) and couldn't resist trying these cuties. I bought "Golden Egg" and "Fluffy Egg" from their Easter Collection. The latter is a sweet-scented bath bomb which is still sitting in my box because It smells too good to use up.  Whereas Golden Egg is a caramel-honey infusion that leaves everything it touches full of gold glitter. I actually used this tonight and it strangely left my bath a toxic green, so I guess I wasn't going to turn into a golden goddess.

Product was gifted to me*
