THE BEST MOVIES OF 2017 (IN MY OPINION)

Thursday 28 December 2017

If you know me IRL or have noticed that I keep a post bookmarked to my page with every movie I've seen (as of last year), then you'll know I spend a lot of time at the cinema, when I can drag someone to come with me. 2017 brought us a couple of highly anticipated movies and some remakes and these are just some of the ones that I found to be particularly memorable and heart pumping. Bearing in mind that I have not seen all 394895 movies that have been released in 2017, so if your favourite isn't on this list, please leave it in the comments below as I probably haven't seen it!

TRAVEL; WHERE AM I GOING IN 2018?

Tuesday 26 December 2017

Now that all the Christmas posts are out of the way (I only wrote a grand total of three but hey) it's time to round up the best of 2017 and look ahead to what's in store for 2018. Starting with where most of my money goes, on holidays. Here is a sneak peak on my travel plans for the first half of the year, who knows it might inspire you too. This post has been written in collaboration with Destination2 and judging by their offers, if I save enough leave I might be able to take a spontaneous luxury trip to Dubai or something later in the year.

FESTIVE & HOLIDAY DRINKING GAMES.

Thursday 21 December 2017

Tomorrow will be a good day, firstly because it's payday and secondly because it's probably the busiest Friday of the year. Not going to lie to you, most of these games are going to be regular drinking games with a festive spin on them, and after about two rounds you'll probably get sick of talking about santa, elves and eggnog and return to playing them regularly. Either way, grab a glass of (mulled) wine and enjoy! Big thanks to Chase Distillery for providing the alcoholic advent calendar, the mulberry vodka is already exciting me.

CITY GUIDE | HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF 48 HOURS IN COPENHAGEN, DENMARK.

Monday 18 December 2017

I feel like I've spoken briefly about my trip to Copenhagen throughout my recent posts, but I've finally had the chance to sit down and write a post dedicated to my 48 hours there. The trip was a pretty 'spur of the moment' idea as I was looking at somewhere to take my mum with nice Christmas markets and somewhere that neither of us had visited before. When I saw the flights were only £40 return, it seemed worth it even for just a short period of time (downside of being a working adult and having no annual leave left). Denmark, like a lot of Scandinavia, is known for being a tad on the pricey side so in a way 2 days was perfect for our wallets too. If you're on a budget or simply wanting to make a quick stop to the city, here is my list of things to do, see and try in Copenhagen, Denmark.

2017, MY YEAR IN TRAVEL.

Thursday 14 December 2017

Now that we're almost half way through December, it's a good time to start reflecting on the past year before we look forward to the future and whatever 2018 has in store for us. I'd like to kick things off with a round up of places I've had the pleasure of visiting in 2017, as it's probably the year I've managed to squeeze in the most mini trips (basically what my savings go to). If wanderlust isn't your thing, stay tuned for posts on movies and resolutions coming soon! But for now, here are my travel highlights of 2017.

MY PICK OF FESTIVE OUTFITS FOR EVERY CHRISTMAS OCCASION.

Tuesday 12 December 2017

One of my favourite parts about the Christmas period, is that it's acceptable to be drunk at 12pm to wear red and sparkle and glitter as often as you like. I usually spend the 25th at my house for Christmas lunch which means I don't usually dress to the nine's, but there's always the office Christmas party, friends dinner do, the last Friday before Christmas eve, and of course the blow out of all blow outs, New Years Eve. NYE in Gibraltar is a funny one because I usually buy the most 'extravagant' dress to basically wander around the streets when I refuse to pay £100 for a ticket to a pretty average event. However this year, I'll be spending it in Barcelona, so you can already picture my excitement at being the human dancing woman emoji. Whatever your plans are this Christmas, here are my top picks for what to wear this party season.

5 OF THE BEST CHRISTMAS MARKETS TO VISIT IN EUROPE.

Sunday 10 December 2017

If you read my last post on getting into the Christmas spirit, one of my pointers was to indulge in all the lovely Christmas Markets that are taking place around the world. One thing they all have in common is that they are a great place to unite with friends, have a first date, stuff your face with food and drink and maybe pick up a few hand made pieces along the way. Of course, each city has its own charm complete with their unique goods and treats. If you're looking for a last minute christmas getaway, here are some of the best Christmas markets in Europe.

5 CITIES AT THE TOP OF MY USA BUCKETLIST (AND SHOULD BE ON YOURS).

Thursday 7 December 2017

Back in 2015 (forever ago I know) I had the great opportunity of living in Florida for 5 months on a student exchange. In that time I ventured around Florida and made a cheeky trip to New York but there is still a lot more of the U S of A I want to discover, as I feel like even though it's one big country there is a lot of contrast between states. From sunny California, to the dirty South, here are the top 5 cities in America that are sitting at the top of my bucket list.

HOW TO GET INTO THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT (FOR WHEN YOU'RE FEELING SLIGHTLY SCROOGEY).

Tuesday 5 December 2017

It's taken me a whopping 5 days to write a post about Christmas, how very unbloggerish of me! Truth be told I am not the biggest Christmas fanatic, don't get me wrong I enjoy listening to Michael Buble's Christmas album and watching my fair share of holiday movies, but as I've got older (and certain life events have occurred) December has become somewhat of a bittersweet time for me. That being said, there are elements to Christmas time that I enjoy (mainly the food and parties) and if you're still feeling low on the festive scale, here are ways we can both get into the Christmas spirit!

NOVEMBER FAVOURITES AND HIGHLIGHTS.

Friday 1 December 2017

As if we are at the end of the year already! To be honest, November and December have pretty much merged into one long month with everyone starting the Christmas celebrations so early, but as from tomorrow we get to eat daily chocolates too. At the beginning of this month I finally graduated from Bournemouth University! which feels like forever ago now, and being back in UK means I got to pick up a few bits and bobs which have made it into my November favourites.

I TRIED THE 'SOSHAPE' DIET PLAN FOR TWO WEEKS AND HERE IS MY VERDICT.

Tuesday 28 November 2017

Me and food have a pretty rollercoastered relationship, there are days where I just crave greens and then there are days where I want to stuff my face with everything above 1000 calories. Having embarked on this lifestyle change this year I've become more interested in what I actually put in my body, and enjoy exploring the different effects different 'diet/lifestyle plans' have. I've decided to make it a monthly task to try a different thing, well for like two weeks (vegans, stay tuned). This month the lovely people at SoShape sent me a two week plan to try and test and I'm here to tell you all about it.

15 READERS REFLECT ON WHAT THEY'RE THANKFUL FOR IN LIFE.

Thursday 23 November 2017

Today is a day I wish I was American just because it means an extra day to stuff my face with food, and even though I have no American blood I thought it would be a nice thought to take the whole 'giving thanks' idea and turn it into a blog post showcasing what myself and some of you guys are thankful and grateful for in life. We often get so caught up in first world problems, materialistic things and things we don't have that we forget the things that truly matter (god am I always this cheesy). Here's what you guys had to say.

HOW TO TRAVEL THE WORLD WHEN YOU'RE NOT BALLING IN CASH.

Tuesday 21 November 2017

There are people in life who are fine with one big holiday every summer, and there are people who get hit with the travel bug every month and the only remedy is sipping Mai Tai's or climbing a mountain somewhere. The dream would be to be able to hop from place to place, so I am patiently waiting to meet my rockstar boyfriend so I can tag along on his World Tour. For us regular folk, do not despair there are still plenty of ways to make travelling the world more affordable (here's a blog post on bagging a cheap holiday) and a reality.

5 SKILLS I HAVE LEARNT AS A BLOGGER, AND IT'S NOT WRITING.

Friday 17 November 2017

It's been quite a while since I wrote a blogging related post on my blog. The last one centred around what blogging means to me (and what it doesn't) and the one before that shared with you guys what I'd learnt in 2 years of blogging. This time round I thought I'd write about something which I'm sure most bloggers can relate to, how blogging is not just one task and is not just writing something down and posting it (unless your blog is purely your diary, if it were mine I wouldn't want anyone reading it.) So without further or do, here are 5 skills that blogging has taught me.

OCTOBER FAVOURITES AND HIGHLIGHTS.

Saturday 4 November 2017

Can you believe there are only two months left of 2017? Where has the year gone! With Halloween officially past, everyone is pretty much set on Christmas (and thanksgiving) mode. For me it just means it's an excuse to eat more food because it's colder and it's ok indulge in hot drinks every night. Last month I wrote about my goals for this month and considering there was like 15 of them, I did pretty well. More on that later, here are my monthly favourites and highlights for October!

BRINGING MORE POSITIVITY INTO YOUR LIFE.

Wednesday 1 November 2017

Bringing positivity into our lives is so simple, yet so hard to do in practice for some of us. I'd like to think I'm a glass half full person at times, but there are some situations in life that it's hard to see differently. Last year I wrote a post about taking care of yourself at University, now here's one about just feeling like an all round good, happy person.

10 WAYS TO GROW YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE.

Tuesday 24 October 2017

Ah social media, the medium we all have a love/hate relationship with. I remember the simple days when having 20 followers who found your content funny and interesting was sufficient. Which it still can be, if you're just doing it for you. However in the world of content creators, we all know brands and people only look at your numbers  great content. This post is not just about helping you gain 100s of followers, but how to increase the amount of traffic driven to your blog/pages and create a larger audience overall. I'd also like to point out I'm no internet influencer, I'm just talking from my experience and what has helped me grow on the likes of Instagram and Twitter.

HOW I LOST 10KG (AND KEPT IT OFF, FOR NOW)

Sunday 22 October 2017

Firstly, I want to take a moment to congratulate past (June) Giana for deciding to finally commit to this 'healthy lifestyle/fitness journey' and actually sticking to it. More over I gave myself the challenge of losing 10kg by graduation (5th November) so hey, go me! Did it mean eating kale and chicken for 4 months? No, because then I could have probably lost it by August but would have been a big meatball by now again. We all know that muscle weighs more than fat, so aside from that I've lost around 3 inches from my waist, hips and all that jazz. If you're looking to shift a bit of weight or just here to have a nosey, here are some of the tips I followed to lose weight - P.S here's me sweating like a pig at the top of the Rock of Gibraltar.

10 MOVIES TO WATCH THIS HALLOWEEN (OR EVERY NIGHT LEADING UP TO IT).

Thursday 19 October 2017

So there's just over a week left until my favourite holiday of the year, which means I get to make everyone watch my favourite movie genre this month too. Even though my movie list would suggest I only watch thrillers, I do love a good jumpy horror. Whether you're spending your halloween dressed up as a sexy cat, or hiding behind your pillow watching films whilst ignoring trick or treaters here is my list of 10 'horror' movies to suit the occasion.

SUMMER BEAUTY FAVOURITES.

Saturday 14 October 2017

Now that I have a stable pay check, I can now kind of justify splurging on beauty products. I've always been quite standard with the make-up I use and my routine, I think the only thing that changes  daily is my shade of lipstick. Even though I tend to be more bare faced in the hotter months, there are usually a lot more events and things to dress up for, hence more time to experiment with products! Here are some of my beauty based favourites from the summer month.

10 APPS I USE IN MY DAILY LIFE.

Tuesday 10 October 2017

So recently (yesterday) I became the proud new owner of an iPhone 8 plus wehey! I planned this post whilst I still had my iPhone 6 (hence the photography), but with having a new phone means downloading the apps I still use frequently, and not Pokemon Go because we all know that phase lasted 2 seconds. Obviously Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are a given, seeing as I spend my life on Twitter and tagging my friends in memes, but here are the other apps I use on a daily basis. This post is written in collaboration with GoCustomized where you can create your own personal phone cases in a range of styles. In my case I decided to go for the 'mum' cover, and sadly the time I took it off, my screen smashed ha.

AUTUMN LIFESTYLE, FITNESS & BLOG GOALS.

Tuesday 3 October 2017

Hey y'all! So I've decided to change things up and start posting seasonly goals instead of monthly favourites (which I still might pop in occasionally). Firstly because I've just provided you guys with part 1 of my summer favourites and secondly because I feel like If i share my goals with you guys and on here, I'm much more likely to fulfil them. Also I'm so excited it's October because that means Halloween, and more scary releases on Netflix yay!

CITY GUIDE | SPENDING A WEEKEND IN TANGIERS, MOROCCO.

Sunday 24 September 2017

I feel like this blog post in long overdue, as Morocco is pretty much a stone throw away from Gibraltar (or a 45 minute ferry from Tarifa). Last weekend I finally made the trip over to the tip of Africa and gained about 5kg in moroccan desserts. It was short, sweet and tiring as I was travelling with 3 women who could spend 20 hours in the Soco, but we also got the chance to see some great sites. If you're planning a trip to Tangiers here's what I got up to and some of my recommendations.

10 WAYS TO FILL UP YOUR SPARE TIME (AND KEEP IT INTERESTING)

Friday 15 September 2017

For the last four years, September has meant going back to university, and having the time of my life. Now that that is officially over, I am now an adult with a 9-5 job who goes to bed at midnight and spends £3 on a vanilla latte every morning - boring and monotonous right? Hands up if you're in this pool of people who have now been told a dozen times 'the fun is over!' 'time to start planning for the future!' It's always handy to keep a savings account to you know, be backed up if you suddenly fall pregnant or want to buy your own car or house, but it doesn't mean life has to become routinely and boring when you finish university. Hence this post full of wonderful things to fill your time.

10 GAME OF THRONES VIEWERS SHARE THEIR SEASON 8 THEORIES & PREDICTIONS.

Tuesday 29 August 2017

Let me start this blog post by warning you, there will probably be spoilers. So if you're not a true fan and still haven't watched the finale then bookmark this post and read it after. Okay so with that out of the way, how intense was that last episode?! There were some epic reunions and we finally got that incestual love making session some of us had hoped for, which might have gone down better had it not taken place whilst Bran was narrating the fact they were in fact auntie and nephew. Before the GOT hype winds down for two years until the final season, I thought it would be a good time to ask you guys what your theories for the final season are, and then you can use this as proof if any of this actually comes true so you can show off to your friends that you were right.

TURNING 23 | 23 THINGS I'VE LEARNT ABOUT LIFE SO FAR.

Sunday 27 August 2017

This is my first blog post as a 23 year old, which also reminds me I need to change the age on my bio and social media channels. I'm currently lying in bed with the worst migraine (possibly still a hangover from Friday), but wanted to get this post up and posted. Last year I wrote a blog post all about 22 things I've learnt about life so far. So here we are again with all the new found knowledge I've had in 365 days since then.

10 BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION IDEAS FOR PEOPLE IN THEIR 20'S THAT AREN'T COMPLETELY LAME.

Monday 14 August 2017

If it were up to me, I'd still be having fancy dress parties every year in a themed venue with plenty of jelly shots. As we pass our teenage years our friendship groups tend to get smaller and some people tend to avoid celebrating getting older, so big parties become a thing of the past. I however still think birthdays are great and it's the one day of the year everybody makes you feel special and people generally tend to do whatever the hell you want to do. So here are 10 birthday ideas that aren't totally lame.

JULY FAVOURITES AND HIGHLIGHTS.

Tuesday 1 August 2017

Now that July is over it means we're almost through with summer, but it also means that my birthday is this month! (birthday wish list to follow soon). July was a fun month, I worked a bit which meant some pocket money to fund all the day parties I've been to this month! I've got a couple of exciting things coming up this August, but we shall leave that for another post. Here are my July favourites and highlights!

THIS IS HOW WE DATE NOW.

Sunday 30 July 2017

20 years ago, a guy might have approached you in a bar, cafe, bookshop, on the street and striked up a conversation with you and maybe proposed you go on a date. Nowadays, dating is a lot more different and mating calls take the form of swiping, liking and retweeting. I'm no stranger to 'online dating', when I was 17 I met a guy through twitter who I ended up speaking to for a year and a half and met up a handful of times, but we still keep in contact (I would not have the patience to do this now). Luckily thanks to apps like Tinder, Bumble and Co you can actually find people in your area and then after a cheesy conversation or two you can start your looove journey face to face. I've been on three tinder dates on my life and 2/3 of them weren't a complete disaster and led to short flings until I had to move away, as usual. So is this how we date now?

MY SUMMER POOL-SIDE ESSENTIALS.

Monday 24 July 2017

I remember being 16 and watching endless videos on Youtube on 'what's in my beach bag' as I was a curious soul. Now that we're half way through the summer I thought I'd write a post on what comes with me to the beach. Living in a hot country means I head to the beach 3-4 times a week either in Gibraltar or Spain, and these are some of my essentials.

WHY LIFE AFTER YOU GRADUATE CAN BE YOUR BEST YEARS YET.

Saturday 15 July 2017

It's been a month since I left Bournemouth University and now I've been left in limbo, despite setting myself a list of goals for the year. As with most of you graduates, I'm sure you've been bombarded with the "so what's next?" "when are you getting a job?" "where are you going to be living?" "the fun is over now, what next?" questions, and it's okay to say, I don't have a bloody clue mate.

25 FUN THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER (FOR YOUNG ADULTS)

Monday 10 July 2017

Being from such a small place, I remember being 16 and googling 'fun things to do when you'r bored' on google, but looking back those days were pretty fun. It's when you get to your 20s that you start running low on ideas and the boredom kicks in quicker. Depending where you are of course, if you're living in London then you're never short of something to do (here's a list if you're stuck on ideas). That aside, here are 25 fun ideas to keep you entertained this summer, young adult or not.

JUNE HIGHLIGHTS AND FAVOURITES.

Monday 3 July 2017

Hey guys, this months favourites post is going to be very lifestyle based as I haven't really bought any new products and haven't been wearing much make-up as I've been spending most of my days on the beach! June was a pretty chilled month and it was nice to have no university or work to worry about, and instead Love Island took over my life. Here are some of my favourite things and highlights for June.

PRODUCT REVIEW | THOUGHTS ON THE ME CLEAR ANTI-BLEMISH DEVICE*

Thursday 29 June 2017

One of the perks of being a blogger is getting to try new and innovative products that I probably wouldn't have come across myself. This is probably something I wish was around when I was 16, I've never had acne as such but I'd always have lots of spots in the chin area and still get the occasional one there or in the most random places (like the one I currently have on my cheek). Thanks to this spot popping up it gave me the perfect opportunity to test and review the me Clear Anti-Blemish pen.

WHAT BLOGGING MEANS TO ME, AND WHAT IT DOESN'T.

Wednesday 28 June 2017

Hey guys, it feels like ages ago since I wrote a blog post, even though essentially I wrote one about visiting Bournemouth over a week ago. I guess it's because my usual blogging routine consists of two or three posts a week, and surprisingly this was easier to keep up whilst I was in university because my life was more organised. Now that I'm back in Gibraltar the plan was to dedicate most of my time to blogging before I got a job, but the reality of it is I've been spending my days at the beach and nights watching Love Island and to be honest, I don't feel guilty (apart from the few pending product reviews I need to post) and here is why.

ESSENTIALS TO FRESHEN UP YOUR MAKE-UP ROUTINE.

Tuesday 27 June 2017

When you love makeup, you can sometimes get bored of doing your usual thing. I like to try and mix things up a bit, and discovering new products is always fun. Sometimes you need a new place to look for inspiration so you can change up your look and try out some new techniques. Just adding some new products to your usual routine can help you change things around, whether you're trying a new colour of something you already use or using something brand new that you've never tried before. If you're bored of your usual makeup choices, I've got some great recommendations to make things exciting again.

A New Colourful Palette

A bit of colour added to your makeup can definitely lift you out of boredom. I know we all tend to stick to the colours we know look good, but it's good to experiment sometimes too. If you're not sure what sort of colours to try, you can look at all kinds of people for inspiration. They could be stage actors, musicians or models. I like looking at what's on trend, although the current big thing won't always suit everyone. But that doesn't mean you can't take inspiration from people and borrow elements from different makeup looks. Add lots of colour to your makeup collection with a brand new palette of eyeshadow, or maybe a selection of lipsticks and nail polishes.

Products from the Pros

When I'm looking for quality products, I'll often look at what professional makeup artists recommend. They use great quality products because they need to use makeup that looks great and doesn't fade. You can easily discover some brands that are pro favourites, like RCMA cosmetics, which comes from the Research Council of Makeup Artists. As well as being used for special effects and theatrical makeup, their products are excellent for general beauty too. I love that they have foundation palettes, which are great for getting your colours just right.

Make Your Makeup Last

As mentioned above, professional makeup has staying power, and your makeup should too. That's why one of my favourite products used by professionals is a powder for setting makeup. No one likes makeup rubbing off on their clothes or hands, smudging in the rain, or just fading throughout the day. Aside from using some professional products when you're applying anything from foundation to eyeshadow, a setting powder is another top choice. It's not so much that it will change your makeup look, but that it's a game changer. Touching up your makeup becomes much rarer, which is why I love it.

A Good Concealer and Good Concealer Knowledge

I know most people probably already have a concealer in their makeup collection. But I'm not sure if a lot of people use their concealer in the best way or use the right one. I've got some great use from the anti-blemish device I tried out recently, but concealer is still essential for hiding blemishes and highlighting too. Some people go for a bit too much foundation, when they should make more use of their concealer. You can use it to highlight different areas without caking on too much foundation. I've used both more expensive brands like MAC and cheaper ones like Seventeen and both have been great, so don't think a good concealer is dependent on price. If you want to find the best one for you, try out a few different products to see what works.

Smokey Eye Kit

Smokey eyes are not going to go away anytime soon. While they can be more or less dramatic depending on trends (and personal preference), they tend to always be around in some form. If you want to have more dramatic makeup, think about how you could create your own personal smokey eyes. If you've tried smokey eyes before and they end up more like panda eyes, you can find some easy tutorials to follow on Youtube and other places. My recommended products would be a sharp eyeliner pencil, a good mascara and some light and dark neutral eyeshadow shades.

Look for Some Fun and Playful Products

Some makeup looks are for work or going on a first date. Others can be more fun, for when you're going out with friends. Instead of sticking to your standard everyday makeup look, you can get more experimental. You might not do it for work, but if you're going to a club, who says you can't do something a bit different? Even when you're in an environment when you can't get too fun, you can still try some different colours. If you want to get more playful with your makeup, I would say to try out some brighter colours to your usual look. I also know a lot of people love glitter and I have to say I'm a fan too. There's a reason there's a unicorn craze at the moment, and it's because everyone loves glitter and rainbows (and magical horses).

UK GUIDE | HOW TO SPEND A WEEKEND IN BOURNEMOUTH, ENGLAND.

Tuesday 20 June 2017

If you've read some of my previous posts, you may have caught on that I spent 3 years living in Bournemouth for University. I can't believe it's taken me that long to actually write a post on my 'second home' but I feel now that I've pretty much tried and tested every restaurant here I can provide an accurate guide for things to see, eat and do in Bournemouth!

5 EUROPEAN MUSIC FESTIVALS TO ADD TO YOUR BUCKET LIST.

Thursday 15 June 2017

The festival season is well and truly in full swing, even though I feel like they have been part of my life for the last 10 months having done a 12,000 dissertation on international music festival motivation. Having spent a lot of time researching and talking to 'participants' about festivals they have attended in Europe, I thought I'd compile this list on the European festivals that are currently on my bucket list, and probably should be on yours too!

7 WAYS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR EYES AND KEEP THEM SPARKLING*

Tuesday 13 June 2017

You probably take very good care of your skin and hair, but what about your eyes? The only time we really think about our eyes is when we’re applying makeup to them, but our eyes need as much TLC as the rest of us if they are to look their most beautiful. If you want to ensure your eyes are always bold, bright and beautiful here’s what you need to do.

12 WAYS YOU'RE DOING BETTER IN LIFE THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE.

Saturday 10 June 2017

Being an adult is hard, even though we technically become adults at 18 there is still a lot of learning and life to get through and sometimes it feels like we're not quite where we should be in our lives. I feel like we feel this especially in our 20s, or after a major chapter in our lives has ended like finishing university, college or even starting a new job. Now that I'm officially unemployed it kind of scares me that I am now being thrown into the 'real world' but I feel like that means so many different things nowadays, with so many people being digital nomads, taking prolonged gap years and working for themselves, there isn't really one right path to go down. I feel like I'm going into a totally different blog post so I'll quit the rambling and get on to the point of the post, here are 10 signs that we are doing better in life that we think we are.

5 TV SHOWS TO WATCH ON NETFLIX THIS MONTH.

Thursday 8 June 2017

Hey guys, if you've been keeping up with my posts then you might know I finished university last month and I am officially unemployed, which means I have endless hours to dedicate to Netflix. It's been a while since I did one of these posts, I decide a monthly TV post wouldn't be ideal because I don't think I get through that many. Some of these may have launched earlier but I definitely think they're still worth the watch! So without further ado, here are 5 TV shows to watch on Netflix this month.

MAY HIGHLIGHTS AND FAVOURITES.

Sunday 4 June 2017

Hi guys! I kind of feel like May feels ages ago already, I can't believe it's been three weeks since I finished university and in a weeks time I'll be back in Gibraltar for good (kinda). I've got to try some great products last month which I wanted to share with you guys, as well as what I've been up to and some of my favourite things from the month!

MY GUIDE TO HAVING A GREAT ROAD TRIP AND GETTING YOUR CAR THROUGH IT.

Monday 29 May 2017

I love road trips, which considering I don't drive yet usually just means me taking over the AUX cable and stuffing my face with chicken nuggets whilst my friends do all the driving. I'm actually road tripping with one of my best friends this weekend who I haven't seen in month, and will be on the way to a festival so I'm very much looking forward to it! As obvious as some of these points may sound, these are just a few things I think make up a great road trip, and also avoiding breakdowns and other disasters by making sure your car is running correctly and what to do if your car needs any services.

Thursday 25 May 2017

Hi chickens! I've been looking forward to telling you guys about Nutribuddy's new breakfast kit for a while now because I've been so happy with it! Last year I did a review on their sculpting whey and weight loss products which you can have a look at here and found it worked great (I'm still using it). So when I was offered the opportunity to review the 'Nutribuddy Breakfast Kit' I jumped right on board. In fact I'm currently sat here drinking my chocolate brownie breakfast shake now, I know it's meant for mornings when you're on the run but it's quickly become one of my favourites and so drink it at home anyway. If you'd like to find more about the breakfast kit keep reading for a full review!

PRODUCT REVIEW | JAN MARINI HYLA3D

Tuesday 23 May 2017

Hi guys, today I want to tell you guys all about Jan Marini's new HYLA3D product that was sent to me for review. I've reviewed one of Jan Marini's products before and it did not disappoint so I was quite excited to see the results of this. In a nutshell, this product aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, boosts collagen, increase skin hydration and just make you feel and look a lot more youthful. As I've mentioned before I believe starting young is always the best way to prevent signs of ageing which is why I think having a good skincare regime is important. Keep reading to find out more about the HYLA3D and my thoughts on the product.

STUDYING ABROAD IN THE UK, IS IT FOR YOU?*

Studying abroad has its obvious benefits. You’ll be able to get out the country and come to Britain. It’ll be a great adventure and after you’ve finished at university, who knows, you could end up staying here. Why wouldn’t anybody want to do it? If you’re thinking like this, you may need to slow down. While it is a great opportunity to explore the world, it does still have its downsides. You will be completely uprooting your life, leaving all of your family and friends behind, and starting again. There is always the chance that you could run into problems, which is why proper planning is vital. If you are toying with the idea of moving to Britain to study, there are a few things you should think carefully about first.

UNIVERSITY DEGREE DONE AND DUSTED, NOW WHAT NEXT?

Friday 19 May 2017

I am currently sat in bed listening to Lana Del Rey with a glass of Lidl white wine, and it still hasn't sunk in yet that my 4 years at university are over. In that time I've spent a semester living in Florida, a year working in London and a lot of time in bed watching movies, hence this list of movies recommendations for you. I'm going to save the reflecting for a bit later on, once I've left Bournemouth and it's actually hit me that I won't be seeing my friends daily anymore, or drinking caramel frappucino's in the library (there's no Starbucks in Gibraltar) or spending 3 hours in the downstairs room in Cameo. In Easter I kind of went through a quarter life crisis because I didn't know what I was going to do next with my life, I just have a fear of being bored and I never really like staying in the same place for a long time. So I decided to write this post thinking with a positive outlook and what I actually want to achieve in the months coming after finishing university.

HOW TO ENSURE A WARM RECEPTION ON YOUR CANADIAN ROAD TRIP*

North America is much bigger than just the USA, Canada might be one of the best countries in the world for a road trip. The views range from the quiet beauty of the Quebec country roads to the jaw-dropping mountains of British Columbia. The stops range from the diverse metropolis that is Toronto to the gorgeous, quaint Goderich. But there’s plenty that can go wrong on any road trip. Once you’re sure you’ve got the car organized and plenty of warm clothes packed, what do you need to be concerned with?

MY SPRING SKINCARE ROUTINE WITH ANATOMICALS.

Thursday 18 May 2017

If you regularly pop into Topshop, then I'm sure you've all heard of this brand, with their colourful and quirky packaging they're hard to miss. I was kindly sent a few products by Anatomicals to try and I have no complaints, which is why these products have officially made it into my spring skincare routine. I always find it so much easier to keep a regime up when all the products are from the same brand, as they're all staring me in the face when I'm in the bathroom, and with this colourful lot I haven't failed yet! Keep reading to find out my thoughts on the products.
