18:00

If you’re a nomad that loves shopping, is there anything better than a shopping getaway? Is there anything better than travelling to a place that allows you to get your fashion fix? Is there a better way to travel than to travel in the knowledge that you are getting your fix of retail therapy whenever it is you go? If your answer to these questions is no every time, then you’re most certainly a travelling shopaholic. And all you travelling shopaholics have definitely come to the right place! Below are some of the best destinations to travel to where shops, boutiques, malls and stalls are rife.

Shoreditch (London, England)
Oxford Street isn’t the only shopping area that London has to offer. Shoreditch is a place all shopaholics should visit when visiting England’s capital. The shops here are a must see as they combine the edginess of East London with the up-market style of the rest of the city. There is a pop-up mall — yes a pop-up mall — in the form of BOXPARK. A whole mall that pops up, that’s a must see, right? There’s the super stylish boutique known as Hostem that boasts all the labels you could possibly want to see on a shopping trip. And there’s the famous Celestine Eleven that is a must visit for all of you shoppers out there that have an eye for the most savvy and most modern of clothes. And when you travel to shop in Shoreditch you don’t have to just shop in style. You can sleep in style too by checking into any of the hotels in the area, notably the Dorsett City, London. When you travel to shop, you have to shop and travel in style.

Shinjuku (Tokyo, Japan)
This neighbourhood in the heart of Tokyo is one of, if not the most, famous shopping destinations that the city has to offer. Shinjuku shopping offers up a shopping experience that is truly mind-blowing. There are major department stores, skyscraper shops and both trendy and high-end shopping areas. But this place is a playground for not only shopaholics but also for travellers as well. Specifically, those that travel to experience the world’s most vibrant and bustling cities.

Dubai Mall (Dubai, UAE)
The Dubai Mall is, for all intents and purposes, a little city. This mall, as well as the shopping that takes place in it is a huge part of the country’s culture. So, a trip here without shopping would just be rude! And when you do shop here you’ll truly be spoilt for choice as there are 1,200 retailers on site. And don’t worry, if visiting each and every one of them sounds like hungry work then you can rest assured that there will always be eateries around — 200 of them if you must know! And for afters? Why not visit the world’s largest candy store, Candylicious?

So, as a shopaholic nomad you owe it to yourself to indulge yourself in the best shopping experiences the world has to offer. To pass the time on the flight over to your shopping destination of choice, why not plan your trip meticulously? You don’t want to miss a shop, and with all the shopping choice around the world, a plan is most certainly needed!
