♡ ALBUM REVIEW: JUSTIN BIEBER'S PURPOSE ♡

Friday 13 November 2015

Friday 13th was surprisingly a lucky day for Bieber and 1D fans alike. The release of Justin Bieber's fourth studio album Purpose (with all those compilations and that Journals album that never reaaaally took off despite catchy tracks like Confident and All That Matters) comes after a roller coaster of... a life basically, for 21 year old Biebs. 2016 has been the year of Bieber, he's bloody everywhere, not that I'm complaining. He's also announced that he'll be going on tour with his album in 2016 after being gone from the stage for a while, not to mention his highly anticipated album is already set to be in for a chance at the number 1 spot.

Long gone are the catchy hits such as Baby, Somebody to Love and Boyfriend. Justin Bieber's more mature sound on Purpose showcases his diversity with his singing and songwriting. We've already heard the infectious What Do You Mean? and Sorry, but 90% of the songs on the album seem like they could be #1 hits. It's also interesting to kinda guess which songs were influenced by his on/off again ex girlfriend Selena Gomez. There are a lot of people featuring on this album, including newcomer Halsey (check her out!!), Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, and of course Skrillex and Diplo.

The album features a mix of up beat dance tracks like Where Are U Now, What Do You Mean? and Children, as well as some smoooth tracks like No Pressure, Trust and Life Is Worth Living. There isn't one track on this (deluxe album) that I'd want to skip passed, and it also makes for some easy listening in the shower, car or Bieber & Chill. Also how great it is that guys are finally openly admitting to being a fan of the Biebs? Times are changing people!

Here are my top 5 picks from the album & listen to the full thing below!

5. Get Used To It

4. No Pressure

3. Love Yourself

2. The Feeling

1. Sorry
