1. SCREAM QUEENS
At first I didn't know what to make of this show. Is it meant to be scary? funny? or just down right fucked up. It revolves around a sorority house and some unusual new pledges and then people start being killed by this "red devil" I must admit the story line doesn't interest me as much as the stuff that comes out of Emma Roberts mouth does #deafTaylorSwift - this show is pretty hilarious if you're into that wtf American humour.
2. AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL
If you've ever watched AHS before, you'll know each season has a different theme with a completely new story line and actors, with themes in the past being Asylum, Coven, Freak Show and a Haunted House. As the title suggests, it's based in a hotel and a lot of creepy shiz goes on. I must say this one has already started out being the most gory and messed up, and I don't get scared easily but this season has definitely got my heart racing a few times. Also LADY GAGA IS IN IT and she is fabulous, not to mention the endless amount of eye candy (Evan Peters, Matt Boemer, Finn Wittrock etc.)
3. GOTHAM
If you're a Batman fan or enjoy crime dramas then why aren't you watching this already. It's based on batman before he was batman, and focuses on Detective Jim Gordon when he's still a handsome man in his 20s (played by that guy from The OC!!) Each episode revolves around a different WTF case i.e. serial "killer" who attaches his victims to balloons so they die in the air. Whilst this is going on you have all the different characters slowly being introduced...with some plot twists.Selina Kyle is bad AF and Bruce Wayne is adorable, as is his relationship with Alfred!
4. GIRLS
This show has been out for around 2 years now, but it's one that is very underrated. What I love about this show is that it's not all fake hollywood glam like 90210, The OC and Gossip Girl - it's four real girls facing real life situations from everything to relationships, jobs and dramas. They're not perfect either, Hannah (Lena Dunham) will annoy the pants off you, but you will probably see a bit of yourself in each of them! Boys, don't let the title put you off, my ex probably enjoyed this show more than I did.
5. BATES MOTEL
You're probably very familiar with Alfred Hitchcock's classic horror Psycho but ever wondered what made Norman Bates that way? This show focuses on Bates as a teenager before he became the twisted psychopath (played by Freddie Highmore) and you see how he goes from being a kind introverted guy to well...psycho. His mother is pretty hilarious too.
