Dirty Grandpa
22nd January
Mainly because it stars Zac Efron, but it also looks like a pretty light-hearted and fun film featuring Robert Di Niro. Right before (Zac's) his wedding, an uptight guy is tricked into driving his grandfather, a perverted former Army general, to Florida for spring break.
Deadpool
4th February
You've probably seen this marvel anti-hero being cosplayed everywhere, and if you watch the trailer you can tell it's going to be a punny one. Starring Ryan Reynolds, a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary is subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers and adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
How To Be Single
19th february
I was actually in New York when they were filming this and saw that chick off 50 Shades of Grey, hopefully she's a bit less bleh in this. The film is basically what the title suggests, 4 ladies trying to learn how to be single in a world where we're told you can only be happy if you're attached to someone by the hip.
Batman vs Superman
25th March
The long awaited epic battle between Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill - amongst other things. I'm excited to see how they bring this to the screen.
Bad Neighbours 2
6th May
I found the first one hilarious, as is Seth Rogen. The second one stars the original cast as well as Chloe Moretz and Selena Gomez as a Sorority moves in next to the couple and they enlist the help of Zac Efron and his friends.
X-Men: Apocalypse
19th May
Not just because my baby Evan Peters is in it, but I quite enjoyed the previous two movies so quite looking forward to the rest of the story!
Me Before You
3rd June
There had to be one soppy love story on the list, but after reading this book I'm quite excited to see it come to the screen, and there will probably be tears. The movie stars Emilia Clarke and Sam Clafflin and revolves around a girl in a small town who forms an unlikely bond with a recently-paralyzed man she's taking care of.
Mothers Day
17th June
It's been a while since they released one of those movies with legit everyone in Hollywood in them where all their stories intertwine (Valentine's Day, New Years Eve, heck even Love Actually) . Starring Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox (woo FRIENDS reunion!), Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis.
Suicide Squad
18th August
The Joker returns....but sadly not as Heath Ledger :( as a secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. Starring Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Jared Leto, Will Smith and Scott Eastwood.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
18th November
Because a Harry Potter spin-off movie is the closest thing we'll get to another Harry Potter movie. The movie features adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York's secret community of witches and wizards seventy years before Harry Potter reads his book in school.
What movie are YOU most looking forward to seeing this year?!
