PRODUCT REVIEW: POTS & CO*

Saturday 23 April 2016

As much as I love reviewing beauty products - who doesn't love reviewing free food? I was so excited to receive these little pots of cuteness by Pots & Co. So much so that I ate all 3 in the space of 48 hours, which at 400 calories a pot, probably wasn't the smartest idea when I'm trying to watch my figure. Either way, I don't regret it because they were delicious.

About Pots & Co

Pots & Co supply a range of very yummy puddings that come in reusable ceramic pots. Their flavours range from lemon & lime, salted caramel, strawberries & cream and caramelised apple crumble! The packaging is great, and when you order you even get a handy cooler bag that you can reuse for your other stuff that needs to be, well cool. More so, some of their flavours are dairy and gluten free - so they have flavours to suit everyone!

My Thoughts

I was sent 3 flavours to try - lemon & lime, salted caramel & chocolate and passion fruit & orange. They were all delicious and I'll definitely be heading to Tesco later to restock on them. As mentioned, they are quite calorific, having tried the passionfruit one first I thought it seemed relatively light and creamy, so I was quite surprised at the 408 calories it contained - but so worth it. I'll tell you a bit more about each one individually:

  • Lemon & Lime: This was basically like a cheesecake minus the biscuit and fruit - but hey you can transform it into that if you wanna. It was very creamy and I got through the whole thing without wanting to throw up.
  • Salted Caramel & Chocolate: As the flavour suggests, this was probably the heaviest of all of them. It was slightly thicker and "stickier" and as much as I love chocolate after half of it I was starting to feel very full and it got a bit sickly. Still delicious, but maybe best to not have the whole thing in one go. Probably also due to the fact I ate this within an hour of having the passion fruit pot.
  • Passion Fruit & Orange: Probably my favourite of the three! I'm a big fan of passion fruit, and this was also very light and creamy with a jelly like orange coating at the top. I loved the flavour duo and will definitely be buying this again. I'm also eager to try the caramelised apple crumble!
