♡ 10 THINGS WE LEARNT FROM SEASON 4 OF ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK ♡

Tuesday, 28 June 2016

By now most of you have had the chance to binge watch all 13 episodes if not, then click off this page and go read one of my other motivational posts like this one if you want to avoid a bunch of spoilers. Season 4 of OITNB has been one of the most controversial seasons to date, not just for the show but it's touched upon subjects that a lot of other shows have been scared to discuss. From rape culture to 21st century outright racism - it's explored a lot of issues that are very real and very personal for a lot of people.

10 SMALL CHANGES FOR A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE + WEIGHTLOSS.

Thursday, 23 June 2016

Summer is in full swing and well my "summer body" wasn't. Personally I've never been able to stick to a diet for more than 3 days, simply because I love food and mostly carbs. I try to balance it out by going to the gym 3-4 times a week which seems to stop me from pilling on the pounds but I never lose any either. Over the past month or two I've been incorporating little changes into my diet to create a healthier lifestyle as opposed to just doing a crash diet. I'm by no means an expert, but these are some of the little changes that have help me lose a few inches around my body.

♡ MY NIP + FAB SKINCARE ROUTINE ♡

Tuesday, 21 June 2016

I must admit, before I got into blogging and reading other blogs my skincare routine was quite basic and consisted of using Simple's cleanser, toner and moisturiser just because it was what my mum bought at home so I kinda just stuck to that. Now I love reading about new and exciting products and brands that are just that wee bit more exciting. I'm sure a lot of you have heard of Nip + Fab and the great products they offer for your face down to your feet - I mean, even Kylie Jenner is a fan. They kindly sent me over a few products to try and I can say, they're probably the best skincare range I've used to date - and that's my honest opinion!

GET BEACH READY WITH PULSE LIGHT CLINIC*

Friday, 17 June 2016

So it's that time of the year again where you have to bare it all on the beach - which for the most part means monthly waxing appointments or a lot of razor cuts. But there is a (slightly more expensive but worth it in the long run) alternative - laser hair removal. I'm a big fan of this after having my bikini area and upper lip done back when I was 18 and frankly it was the best decision ever, no more painful waxing or embarrassing razor bumps. When I was contacted by Pulse Light Clinic to come and try one of their treatments I was more than happy to do so!

PRODUCT REVIEW: SKINNYMINT TEATOX*

Tuesday, 14 June 2016

If you haven't jumped on board on the Teatox hype in the last two years, what have you been doing with your life? Not constantly needing the toilet for one, but more on that later. I'm back to tell you about a new teatox I've tried this last month, and frankly it's been one of my favourites - and I've tried plenty! Keep reading to find out more about the product and what my results were.

10 TIPS FOR HAVING A CHEAP HOLIDAY GETAWAY.

Wednesday, 8 June 2016

As the holiday blues are still in full swing, I've started planning for my next trips throughout the year. I still have Paris to look forward to in August, but I do like thinking ahead. So I recently booked a trip to Budapest for 3 nights for a grant total of £95 - that's including flights and accommodation. Now for you savvy travellers, these are probably the deals you're used to - if not, keep reading to find out my tips and tricks to get out of the country for cheaper than a weekend with your mates getting pissed in Newcastle.

PRODUCT REVIEW: SMILE BRILLIANT TEETH WHITENING + GIVEAWAY! *

Hey guys! I was so happy when I was contacted by Smile Brilliant to try and review their at-home teeth whitening kit. My teeth weren't necessarily very yellow, but they were missing that white sparkle they once had. I'd tried a teeth whitening kit once before but the experience wasn't great (more on that later), so I was excited to see the results I'd have with Smile Brilliant. Keep reading to find out more about the product and my thoughts on it.

SUMMER RECIPES | MEDITERRANEAN STUFFED PEPPERS

Tuesday, 7 June 2016

It's been a while since I put a recipe up on my blog, mainly due to the fact I've been changing my diet to a healthier one so all I ate last week was omelettes, salads and pitas. Now that I've actually stuck to it for more than a week, I'm trying to incorporate healthier and more filling meals into my diet. With summer being just around the corner (and already started for some) I thought I'd do a mini weekly segment with some healthy and easy recipes for y'all to try.

♡ MAY AT THE MOVIES ♡

Monday, 6 June 2016

This post is a week overdue...but frankly I haven't really had the energy to blog, despite not really doing much else. As usual here are the movies I watched this month on the big screen (or my laptop at home). I'd love to hear in the comments what movies you've seen recently, I do love recommendations!

10 THINGS WOMEN SHOULDN'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT, JUST BECAUSE SOCIETY DOES.

Thursday, 2 June 2016

It's been a while since I've gone on a rant about something, and several discussions I've had lately sparked the idea to create this blog post, on things that us as women are made to feel self-conscious about or more so, made to feel that if we're not following the trend - we're abnormal. As with all my posts, there is some humour to it and possibly (TMI) so sorry if I accidentally offend anyone, there's nothing wrong if you enjoy partaking in these things or disagree with what I have to say.

PRODUCT REVIEW: DERMATX MICRODERMABRASION TREATMENT*

Wednesday, 1 June 2016

I'm back with another skincare review! and this time it comes in the form of an at home microdermabrasion treatment that is designed to fit your skin type. I was kindly asked by DermaTX to try and review their product and having never used one before, I was excited to see the results. Having relatively normal skin (after going through my teenage phase of oily and spotty skin) I was recommended to use the DermaTX Rejuventate System which is designed for normal/sensitive skin - which I could say I have too seeing as anything makes my face red.
