Sunday 30 April 2017

It’s always good to plan ahead when it comes to holidays. After all, it allows you the most time possible to get ready for your vacation. But it’s not always the case that you have weeks to prepare. After all, you might decide you need some sun to help you through the remaining months till summer. And with the May break coming up, it’s the perfect time to get away. However, it’s easy to forget items if you are in a rush for a trip away. Therefore, here are some essentials you must not leave behind if you do decide to take a last-minute break.

1. A charged up camera

You might think it would be impossible to forget your camera. But a lot of people remember the device when they get to their destination. And while your phone is handy for taking some snaps, you might run out of storage space quickly. After all, if you are anything like me, your phone is likely to be full to the brim. Therefore, you might not get any beautiful photos while you are on your holibobs. Therefore, before you go, make sure you have a fully charged camera in your hand luggage. And you also might want to take a selfie stick which will work with your camera. That way, you can get some great selfies with your friends when you are on your break!

2. Cute beachwear

It’s always essential to take some beachwear if you are going to a hot country. After all, you don’t want to have to miss out on the beach as you forget your bikini and your sarong. In fact, you might have to hunt down somewhere that sells them if you do leave them at home. Therefore, head to the shops before you go to find some good beachwear. Or you can look online on sites which sell beachwear and gym wear. After all, as well as wanting to go swimming, you might want to do some jogging and yoga too. Therefore, you need to be prepared for all the activities that you want to do on the beach. Remember to pack a good beach towel too. After all, you don't want to end up borrowing one from the hotel which is never as comfortable as your own!

3. A pair of versatile sandals

It’s so important that you make sure you have appropriate shoes for your holiday. After all, you don’t want to get to somewhere like Ibiza with only trainers packed. Otherwise, be prepared to stand out for the wrong reasons when you do take on the clubbing scene at night. Therefore, before you go, make sure you have a good pair of sandals which can take you from day to the nighttime. After all, you want a pair which is perfect for shopping and walking around the beach. But also great for going out for an evening on a bar crawl. And if you have one pair which is fitting for these different occasions, it will save some room in your case when you return home. After all, you will want to bring lots back with you! And remember to take a good pair of sunnies and some sun cream with you. That way, you will be prepared if there is a heatwave while you are away.
