Today is a big day, because I finally handed in my dissertation! It was sad to see it go, but now it means I have a lot more time to concentrate on my blog (and my two other assignments). Any normal person would be spending the evening watching Netflix or Youtube videos but it seems my fingers can't get enough of writing now. Here's a post I saw recommended by another blogger and thought I might as well create my own so you guys can get to know me a little bit more.  If you're a blogger yourself then it would be great to see your lists too! Here are a few of my favourite things.

1. Food - Definitely lasagna - but I'm very picky about Italian food (except pizza) when eating in restaurants so I'd only eat it if its home cooked! My family know this so well that whenever I come back from university I have about 3 lasagnas waiting for me when I go to family meals.

2. Movie - 500 Days of Summer was top of the list for quite some time, but I watched About Time earlier this year and that might have stolen the top spot. 500 DOS is just an accurate representation of relationships nowadays, sometimes you're Tom and sometimes you have to be Summer.

3. Movie (Disney) - To a lot of people you'd probably think this answer was The Little Mermaid because I own a lot of Ariel merchandise (thanks to gifts), but it's going to have to be Oliver & Company because 'Why Should I Worry' never fails to put me in a good mood.

4. Book - I'm going to say The Great Gatsby, luckily I didn't have to read this in school or I feel like it would have ruined it for me!

5. Song - John Mayer's cover of Free Fallin has always been my go to answer for this question whenever it comes up, if you haven't listened to it go and grace your ears with it now.

6. Actor/Actress - I've fallen in love with Chris Pratt lately, I feel like he's just generally hilarious in real life too. If anyone knows any lookalikes please send them my way! As for actress, I really like Marion Cotillard and hearing her speak makes me want to pick up French again.

7. City I've travelled to - Miami! I was still 20 at the time so this wasn't even because of all the (lack of) alcohol and partying that was done. I loved the atmosphere, I had the nicest swim of my life in South Beach, and it was just a hilarious time with my friends. If you're planning a trip to Miami you can check out my guide here.

8. TV Show - Of all time it has to be The O.C, because that was the first full series I binge watched. Currently I'm going to have to say Pretty Little Liars even though I have a love/hate relationship with it I've been watching it since the first day it came out when me and my 3 friends had a sleepover and suddenly became the A-Team.

9. Artist - Lana Del Rey, and I'm pretty sure this is the only artist that I am a big fan of that isn't just a phase because I've loved her for years. I know a lot of people don't get her music/think she's depressing af but I love the old hollywood vibe and the fact she makes you feel like you're high when you're simply drinking a glass of wine.

10. Fruit -  I was running out of questions, but I'm sure you're all dying to know (it's between passion fruit and pomegranate).

I hope this post hasn't been too boring for you guys! If you do a post similar to this with your own favourites I'd love to check it out!

  12. Aw I love this! It's great to get to know people like this in more laid back posts. It's funny you said about lasagne and having it ready for you... I'm a vegetarian and at our weekly family dinner where everybody eats meat my family always get me in a vegetarian lasagne to eat with all the roast vegetables, so I've pretty much tried every single brand. We always make a joke about it haha!!!

  13. I love this post so much! it was nice to read this and get to know you! My boyfriend and his family are italian so I've been introduced to all the best italian foods and the "proper" way to have them and I've had enough pasta to last me a lifetime now! Pizza is 100% my favourite italian food though and pomegranate is one of my favourite foods,I love eating pomegrante seeds as a snack and Lana Del Rey is my absolute favourite person on the planet (other than my baby)
