So this post is long overdue, but in-between moving around, packing and going back to Gibraltar i've been pretty busy! So 2 weeks ago I went to my university's annual summer ball, and no, it's not one of those lame get dressed to the 9s and having a meal and go home kinda shindigs. We're talking hundreds of students dressed up in everything from bath loofas to boobs (and the occasional slutty nurse), multiple tents playing different acts (which I must admit isn't exactly my style since I'm not really one for house music) and food trucks.
To be honest I wasn't going to SB to be front row for Artful Dodger but rather to spend the day drinking rose with my friends and jumping from house party to house party before heading to the event and just going round and speaking to people as you do.
Being my first summer ball (as last year I was busy partying with One Direction on the same day) it was very different to what I expected, it was fun, but I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I could have handed the DJ my own personalised mix tape. The best part was probably meeting new people by approaching everyone with "can I take a photo of you guys for my blog?" which also gave me the opportunity to introduce my friend to all the sexy Batman's and Captain Americas.
