FOODIE REVIEW: SOWN & GROWN GRANOLA*

Wednesday 30 March 2016

I'm the first to admit I usually skip breakfast simply because I wake up so late so I barely have enough time to even sit down for two minutes. However lately I've got into the habit of waking up half an hour earlier so I can actually chill and sit down and have breakfast so I'm not having lunch by 12:30pm. After being introduced to the brand Sown & Grown it has now become a part of my daily morning routine!

♡ BOOK REVIEW: ME BEFORE YOU ♡

Monday 28 March 2016

Hey guys! It's been a very long time since I've done a book review because simply I usually just move on to the next one and forget to write about, and sometimes I feel I don't have enough to say about each one! Me Before You was one of my favourite books I've read in a while, so I felt like I had to get you all on board if you somehow hadn't heard of it yet!

HOW I SPENT 3 DAYS IN SWEDEN | STOCKHOLM & LULEA

Tuesday 22 March 2016

Hey guys! I've just got back from an exciting few days in Sweden - land of IKEA, Swedish meatballs and Abba & I can't wait to tell you all about it. I was invited along as part of a familiarisation trip for work, which involves some site visits and seeing the best of what the cities have to offer for us to pitch to our clients for incentive & business trips, to hold events or simply to visit as a tourist! I was very lucky to take part in a lot of exciting experiences as well as seeing the Northern Lights which was very unexpected!

RECIPE: HOMEMADE MEATBALLS

Admittedly, when buying the ingredients for these in Tesco, I was very tempted to just opt for the £2.50 ready made ones in the same isle and save myself the money and time. After seeing how they turned out I was glad I didn't because they were nice enough to rival my mum's ones! (bearing in mind it is her recipe). Here's a super easy and quick way to make home cooked meatballs in sauce!

PRODUCT REVIEW: BEE GOOD SKINCARE*

Hi lovelies - I'm here to tell you about another new exciting product I've come across and I'm completely in love with. I was kindly given a honey & propolis 2 in 1 cleanser and a NectaPerfecta beautifying mask. Both now essential in my daily skincare routine, keep reading to find out more about these products!

10 TIPS FOR TRAVELLING WITH HAND LUGGAGE

Wednesday 16 March 2016

Hey guys! So I have a very exciting trip to Sweden this Thursday as part of a familiarisation trip for work - which means lots of fun activities! (I'll be telling you all about it when I get back back) and seeing as I always leave packing for the last minute, I thought I'd write this blog post up to make sure I don't remember to pack anything and to give you guys some tips too! Technically I have a 23kg suitcase I'm taking with me too...because Sweden is cold, but this works either way.

RECIPE: GIBRALTARIAN PASTA BAKE

Wednesday 9 March 2016

Truthfully, I don't really know what the name of this dish is in english. Back home we simply call it
"fideo con bacon y huevo" which simply translates to pasta with bacon and egg, but that sounds quite misleading. I thought the closest fit to it would be a pasta bake (with a mix of carbonara) but looking at the ingredients they do differ, but it tastes as good either way!

10 THINGS YOU EXPERIENCE LIVING IN LONDON.

Tuesday 8 March 2016

I've been living in London for just over 7 months now, which doesn't feel like a long time but it wasn't long before I started becoming accustomed to London life and the little changes that come with living here as opposed to home (Gibraltar) or my little university town (Bournemouth). So here are 10 things I've picked up on whilst living in London.

GIBRALTARIAN RECIPE | ROSTO

Monday 7 March 2016

The fact I live in the UK for most of the year means I don't get to enjoy my mother and grandmother's home cooked meals very often. So the solution to that was steal their recipes and try to replicate them myself. Admittedly I still haven't mastered a 'Torta Patata' and it seems to be a hit and miss whenever I make it, but I'll be posting recipes on here on a weekly basis from now on! Note these won't just be Gibraltarian dishes, but anything nice that I think is worth sharing (and doesn't look like a blob on the plate). First on the list we have one of my favourite pasta dishes 'Rosto'.

♡ LIVE: THE 1975 ♡

Wow, what a weekend. I think I've lost feeling in my feet from the hours I've spent standing this weekend and being stepped on. On the bright side, it's been a very fun filled weekend as I went to see The 1975 on Saturday and Sleeping With Sirens last night and I'm here to tell you all about it. Warning this blog post also contains a rant about concert hooligans.

20 PEOPLE DESCRIBE THEIR CITIES IN A NUTSHELL.

Friday 4 March 2016

The world is a very big and fascinating place, and sometimes I fear I won't have enough time (or money) to explore it all. During my 21 years on this earth I've been very lucky to be able to meet people from all corners of the globe, and sometimes this is enough to gather an insight to a city or country without even having to visit it. Or it means you've got a free bed and tour guide for when you do decide to visit. I decided to catch up with some of my friends and readers on what life is like in their city.

PRODUCT REVIEW: NUTRIBUDDY WEIGHT LOSS KIT*

Thursday 3 March 2016

Coincidentally, I'm writing this post whilst sipping on my chocolate and banana protein shake - talk about getting in the zone. Anyways, I'm here to tell you guys about a brand called Nutribuddy and their line of amazing products. So keep reading to find out about what they offer and most importantly - what the results are!

♡ 10 BOOKS TO READ IN 2016 BEFORE SEEING THE MOVIE ♡

Wednesday 2 March 2016

I don't want to be one of those "the book was soooo much better than the movie" kinda people, but recently I have found some joy in reading books before seeing their adaptations. It's great to see what you've created in your head come to life and to join in in the whole "omg that actor so doesn't look like the Patrick I pictured in my head" conversation. Here are some books turned films I've already read as well as some I'm meaning to do so soon and see if any of them take you fancy!
