MY HAND LUGGAGE & TRAVEL ESSENTIALS, A COLLABORATION WITH MARC B.
Sunday, 14 May 2017
I can't remember the last time I was able to travel with just a handbag for hand luggage, I've been moving around so much lately that I usually need all the space I can get which means more 'wheely' suitcases for me! When I get the luxury of being able to just use a bag for travelling (or the airline lets me get away with both) it makes flying more enjoyable in that I can have everything I need under the seat in front of me, and usually once I get to my destination I can just head straight back out with my bag. Marc B kindly sent me their cherrybrook mushroom handbag for all my travelling essentials - here's everything that comes along with me when travelling!
10 FAVOURITES, GET TO KNOW ME.
Tuesday, 9 May 2017
Today is a big day, because I finally handed in my dissertation! It was sad to see it go, but now it means I have a lot more time to concentrate on my blog (and my two other assignments). Any normal person would be spending the evening watching Netflix or Youtube videos but it seems my fingers can't get enough of writing now. Here's a post I saw recommended by another blogger and thought I might as well create my own so you guys can get to know me a little bit more. If you're a blogger yourself then it would be great to see your lists too! Here are a few of my favourite things.
MY FIRST HOSTEL STAY EXPERIENCE, AND 5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD CONSIDER STAYING IN ONE TOO.
Saturday, 6 May 2017
When you're travelling and tell your friends and family you're staying in a hostel you either get one of two reactions - "oh nice they're so cheap and you'll make loads of friends!" or "how scary, have you not seen the movie hostel?". I think there's a lot of misconceptions about hostels but for people who travel a lot they know most of the time they're perfectly safe, affordable and great if you like socialising and finding new drinking/travel buddies. Last month I spent a week in Amsterdam and Berlin and stayed in hostels in both places, which was a big contrast to the 5 star hotels I was staying in India the week before! But I survived it, and I'm here to tell you all about my first experience staying in a hostel.
9 GOALS FOR MAY.
Tuesday, 2 May 2017
May has never been an exciting month, but we do get a nice bank holiday! For most of us it usually means exams, deadlines and stress. So I thought of doing this post in order to give myself the motivational kick in the butt to get on with my work, and a few more things I aspire to get done with my time. I hope May is good to all of you!

College can be great for loads of reasons: the people, the partying and, of course, the learning. But there’s one thing about college that really sucks - the dorm rooms. They’re cheap, nasty and pretty generic, and the last thing you want if you’re the type of person who gets homesick. Not to worry, there’s all sorts of things you can do to make your dorm room feel a little more homely. Check this out.

KERALA HOTEL GUIDE | ACCOMMODATION FOR EVERY TYPE OF TRAVELLER.
Thursday, 27 April 2017
I love hotels, but ever since I've been travelling alone (and by that I mean without my family) I've had to say goodbye to luxury and turn the price settings on booking.com from lowest-highest. To my delight, whilst on the Kerala Blog Express trip I had the luxury of staying in 5 stars, house stays, houseboats and under the stars! By the end of the trip I became an expert on living out of a suitcase and felt like I was a rockstar on the road, whilst of course losing my pyjamas, mascara and toothbrush on the way - thank god for hotel toiletries! Here's a list of some of my favourites, and there is truly something for every type of traveller.
CITY GUIDE | HOW I SPENT 3 DAYS IN BERLIN, GERMANY.
Tuesday, 25 April 2017
It's been two weeks now since I was in the historical capital of Germany, Berlin. After spending 3 days in Amsterdam we made our way to Berlin with Easyjet, the flight was just over an hour and was very smooth and quick and I legit shut my eyes for 10 seconds and we were there. I always use Skyscanner for my flights because it shows you the cheapest and most convenient flights. We flew into Schönefeld airport and then got a quick half hour train into Alexanderplatz, which was right in the centre of Berlin. If you're planning a visit to Berlin and looking for some tips on what to do, where to stay and eat, then keep reading.
GETTING THROUGH YOUR DISSERTATION, IT'S NOT AS SCARY AS IT SEEMS.
Sunday, 23 April 2017
Today I was struggling to think of what to talk to you guys about, but seeing as I spent an hour and a half trying to format my dissertation and keep everything from moving about on Word, I thought why not talk about what's been taking up most of my time the past couple of months. If you're a final year student you're probably reading this in hopes of finding some motivation for the last push, and if you're still yet to face your dissertation then fear not, it's not as scary as it's made out to be! Here are some of my tips for getting through your dissertation and not losing your mind in the process.
CITY GUIDE | SPENDING 3 DAYS IN AMSTERDAM ON A BUDGET.
Thursday, 20 April 2017
If you've been following me on social media, you may have noticed I've been all over the place over the last couple of weeks. I spent two weeks in India which you can read about here, and then popped over to Amsterdam and Berlin before coming home to Gibraltar for Easter. Which means my legs have got one hell of a work out and I now want to stay in bed for the rest of the week! Amsterdam has been on my bucket list for ages, and I have planned to go three times and three times those plans have fallen through. I finally made it there last week and here is what I got up to.
