A REVIEW OF INAMO'S UNLIMITED ASIAN SUSHI & TAPAS AND BOTTOMLESS DRINKS.
Monday, 17 October 2022
If you follow me on my Tea With Gi Instagram page you might have seen that I just got back from a weekend in London, and probably wondered how I manage to fill so much food into 48 hours. Eating good food when I travel is probably at the top of my priority list, and London has no shortage of this! For me Italian and Japanese are always my top choices, so of course one of our meals was at Inamo in Soho.
Inamo consists of pan-Asian cuisine which includes asian tapas and sushi, and also has the world's 1st interactive table ordering system. They are located both in Soho and in Covent Garden. We booked our table through the OpenTable website, which allows you to browse through over 100s of restaurants in London (and other major cities). Here you can make reservations, read reviews and earn points towards free meals. One of my favourite features of the website is that it allows you to search for 'experiences' at restaurants, so it's easy to find a bottomless brunch or unlimited buffet option!
At Inamo we opted for the 'unlimited asian sushi & tapas and bottomless drinks' which cost £45 per person, plus a 10% service fee that we were charged at the restaurant. When we arrived we were promptly shown to our table and our waitress explained how the interactive concept worked. Using a touch pad on the table you could:
- order your food
- check what you had already ordered
- call the waiter to refill your drink
- play games
- watch the chef in the kitchen
- and see your total
We were given an hour and a half to order food and drinks (beer, wine and prosecco) and we were only allowed to order 3 dishes at a time before ordering the more plates. Between me and my partner we managed to get through 16 sushi/tapas dishes - not a bad attempt! The food arrived quickly and we found that we didn't really have to call the waiter to top up our drinks as they were attentive, and would fill up our glasses before we'd even finished! We did call them 5 minutes before our time was up so we could finish off our meal with a cheeky quick glass of prosecco.
For me the best dishes were the rose salmon sashimi, Szechuan Chicken, bang bang cauliflower, yuzu pork belly, korean BBQ ribs and the yellowtail roll. I was slightly heartbroken that the dragon roll wasn't included in the unlimited menu, but in hindsight i'm sure we could have ordered this as an extra if we wanted to!
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return in a few months to try some different dishes if they change up the 'unlimited menu'. There are probably no more than 15 tables in here, so booking beforehand is necessary to get a spot. The dim lighting makes it a great place for a date night, or even just for a get together with friends.

FASHION FOCUS | MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF FEMME LUXE FINERY
Monday, 2 December 2019
[Disclaimer: This post contains gifted items for review but all words and opinions are still mine and honest]
I think when it comes to shopping for clothes there are people who stick to the more traditional methods of you know, going into a shop and trying on clothes and those of us who prefer to shop comfortably from our bed and then end up buying too much and being too lazy to send half of it back. I probably lie somewhere in the middle. If I'm looking for outfits for nights out and festivals that's where I usually turn to the internet. About a month ago Femme Luxe Finery got in touch and kindly let me pick four items from their website, and it did take me a while to narrow down my basket to 4 as I debated which ones I liked best.
First Impressions
The website is pretty similar to your standard online retailers - I Saw It First, Pretty Little Thing etc. I'd say the pricing lies somewhere between the two, which makes their clothing pretty affordable. There's definitely a Kim K vibe going on with a lot of the clothes so I'd say their target market is women in their 20s-30s and who have that pear or blessed hourglass figure going on. There were a lot of dresses I loved but I thought I simply don't have the boobs for that. Shipping was surprisingly quick and I had my order in just over a week.
My Picks
What I like about their collection is that they have quite a lot of mid-length dresses. I do like wearing clothes when I go out out that show off my curves but I'm not a fan of short dresses as I wouldn't say my legs are my best asset. I went with 3 dresses (which gave me an excuse to go out more this month) and a loungewear set which in hindsight, was a silly choice seeing as it's now 30 degrees in Australia but I thought it would be cute to wear to the airport when I was in chiller places.
White Belted Bodycon Midi Dress (£34)
So when I got the email from Femme Luxe funnily enough, I was searching for a nice white dress to wear for a Halloween party the following week. I was dressing up as IT but was also going to a fancy club so did want something on the sexier side, at least clothes wise! Choosing tight white clothing is always risky because there's always the chance of it being see through, or the material creasing up on the back of your thighs. The dress was fine with nude underwear but it did flatten my bum just a little bit. Nevertheless it still looked nice on and I got a fair few compliments! As you can imagine the dress didn't stay white for very long with all my red make-up.
Black Crop Loungewear Set (£19)
Buying joggers online is always tricky for me as I've got big thighs and a small waist, so I usually run into the problem of them looking too tight instead of that loose fitted look. I went for a medium and they were fine on - not too tight but not baggy either. Once I'm back home and in colder weather I'll definitely be wearing this around the house more often.
Emerald Slinky Ruched Backless Midi Dress (£30)
This is probably my favourite colour when it comes to buying dresses, especially when I have a tan! I think it's so flattering. The trouble with slinky dresses is always the sleeves, since this dress is very low cut on the back all you have to support you is the little elastic that goes around your arms. Mine didn't seem to sit properly and kept falling down leaving a gap on the sides of the dress which made me look bigger from the front. It was very flattering from the back though!
Wine PU Cupped Corset Bodycon Mini Dress (£38)
This was probably my favourite clothing colour when I had wine coloured hair too. I was hesitant about ordering this because yes, the model looked smokin' in it but the material and style looked like you had to have a very particular body shape to pull it off. Luckily for me, the dress wasn't as short or stiff as I thought it would be so I could still move around in it (and breathe) and I didn't run the risk of exposing my bum to everyone on the night. I'll definitely be wearing this again!
Would I recommend Femme Luxe Finery to a friend?
Yes. Their clothing is affordable and they've got great pieces for a night out. I was skeptical at first whether my items would arrive as one does when you hear about a new online clothing website, as there are so many scams out there.
Have you ever heard of Femme Luxe Finery? Would you wear any of these pieces?

PRODUCT REVIEW | THOUGHTS ON THE ME CLEAR ANTI-BLEMISH DEVICE*
Thursday, 29 June 2017
One of the perks of being a blogger is getting to try new and innovative products that I probably wouldn't have come across myself. This is probably something I wish was around when I was 16, I've never had acne as such but I'd always have lots of spots in the chin area and still get the occasional one there or in the most random places (like the one I currently have on my cheek). Thanks to this spot popping up it gave me the perfect opportunity to test and review the me Clear Anti-Blemish pen.
STARTING THE DAY RIGHT WITH THE NUTRIBUDDY BREAKFAST KIT.
Thursday, 25 May 2017
Hi chickens! I've been looking forward to telling you guys about Nutribuddy's new breakfast kit for a while now because I've been so happy with it! Last year I did a review on their sculpting whey and weight loss products which you can have a look at here and found it worked great (I'm still using it). So when I was offered the opportunity to review the 'Nutribuddy Breakfast Kit' I jumped right on board. In fact I'm currently sat here drinking my chocolate brownie breakfast shake now, I know it's meant for mornings when you're on the run but it's quickly become one of my favourites and so drink it at home anyway. If you'd like to find more about the breakfast kit keep reading for a full review!

Hi guys, today I want to tell you guys all about Jan Marini's new HYLA3D product that was sent to me for review. I've reviewed one of Jan Marini's products before and it did not disappoint so I was quite excited to see the results of this. MY SPRING SKINCARE ROUTINE WITH ANATOMICALS.
Thursday, 18 May 2017
If you regularly pop into Topshop, then I'm sure you've all heard of this brand, with their colourful and quirky packaging they're hard to miss. I was kindly sent a few products by Anatomicals to try and I have no complaints, which is why these products have officially made it into my spring skincare routine. I always find it so much easier to keep a regime up when all the products are from the same brand, as they're all staring me in the face when I'm in the bathroom, and with this colourful lot I haven't failed yet! 5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD BE DRINKING MATCHA TEA, A COLLABORATION WITH OCHA MATCHA.
Tuesday, 14 March 2017
By now we all know the benefits of green tea and it's not just a hot beverage for the health conscious and meditators. Now it's all about the superfood variety that is Matcha tea. For those who are hearing the term for the first time, Matcha Green tea is the highest quality powdered green tea available. Matcha is also my flavour of choice when it comes to bubble tea, and I was excited to try making my own at home with Ocha Matcha's kit. The powder is so vibrant you'd think Shrek and Hulk had a say in the making process.
PRODUCT REVIEW | SKINTIFIQUE SKINCARE.
Friday, 6 January 2017
Last month I was contacted by Skintifique and was asked if I wanted to review their new Cleanser P product. I love trying out new skincare ranges and we know the french are famous for having great skin so I jumped at the chance to try this. Essentially it works as both a cleanser and make-up remover with the use of micellar water. Here is what I made of the product itself.
TEA WITH GI | A COLLABORATION WITH BLUEBIRD TEA CO
Tuesday, 22 November 2016
Considering my blog name, it makes sense that I occasionally feature some great tea companies I stumble upon. I heard about bluebird tea co a couple of months back and was amazed by the interesting range of teas they offer, and we're not just talking your usual chai and peppermint tea! They kindly sent me their brand new christmas range to try and tell you guys about! Here's what I made of their collection.
FLOWERS FOR EVERY OCCASION | BLOSSOMING GIFTS BOUQUET GIVEAWAY!
Wednesday, 9 November 2016
Who doesn't love receiving flowers? I think I've only ever been given two 'bouquets' in my life, one from my ex and a single rose from a random man in Rome. Flowers are often just reserved for funerals or 'special' occasions, but wouldn't it be a nice surprise if we gave these out whenever we were genuinely grateful for something, or just to say thank you for being a great person. Sadly I don't have a partner to shower me with chocolate and roses, but luckily Blossoming Gifts got in touch and offered to send me one of their lovely bouquets.
PRODUCT REVIEW | SKINCEUTICALS' PHYTO CORRECTIVE MASQUE.
Thursday, 20 October 2016
Hi guys! It's been a while since I've done a product review and the lovely people at Dermacare Direct reached out to me about reviewing one of their new products. I love changing up my skincare products after a couple of months and the Phyto Corrective Masque definitely intrigued me, I mean it's green! If you travel often, are sporty or simply suffer from red face syndrome, then this might be the product you need to add to your shelf.
A COLLABORATION WITH LOTTOLAND | WHAT IF I WON THE LOTTERY?
Wednesday, 17 August 2016
When I was around 15, there was nothing more exciting than sitting in the living room at 7pm with my mum watching the Gibraltar lottery and imagining all the things I'd do if we won the jackpot. I think the closest thing we ever came to winning anything was a minor prize of £500, but even then that had to be shared out between the whole office so the winnings weren't anything substantial. Since then I can say I've probably only bought one scratch card and despite having worked in a betting company for a year, I've only bet on the horse races once and only managed to win my money back. I just find it all very confusing, but then Lottoland gave me the opportunity to try all this out online, which is great for us lazy folks!
PRODUCT REVIEW | SECRET SCENT SUBSCRIPTION BOX
Monday, 15 August 2016
Subscription boxes have taken over our mailboxes this year, with everything from razors, sweets and flower bouquets all being delivered to you monthly there's no need for any of us to ever leave our houses. Recently I was contacted by Secret Scent Box to share my thoughts on their brand new monthly subscription box service. My initial thought was, great I don't have to clog up my nostrils smelling 20 different scents at Seruya and instead get sent three mini designer perfumes to try out per month so that you can a. change your scent up often and b. figure out what smells you like best before splurging on a 100ml bottle.
PRODUCT REVIEW: FRICTION FREE SHAVING*
Thursday, 7 July 2016
Finally! A razor that's pretty enough to Instagram, like seriously have you ever found a rose gold hair remover before? That aside, nowadays there's a subscription box for everything (and a lot of useless ones at that) and this is probably one of the most useful ones I've seen! The basis behind Friction Free Shaving (FFS) is that they send you a supply of razors to your door on a monthly basis, so there's no excuse for having enough leg hair to rival your boyfriends or using a razor you last changed on New Years when you needed those silky smooth legs.
PRODUCT REVIEW: JAN MARINI C-ESTA EYE REPAIR CONCENTRATE*
Sunday, 3 July 2016
It's never too early to start taking care of your skin and especially delicate and defining areas like your eyes! I've never used eye creams in the past so when DermaCare asked if I wanted to review the Jan Marini Eye Repair Concentrate I jumped right onboard! I used about half of this and then gave it to my mum to see what she thought about it too - considering she is significantly older and well, probably needs it more than me. Keep reading to find out my thoughts about the product!
PRODUCT REVIEW: SMILE BRILLIANT TEETH WHITENING + GIVEAWAY! *
Wednesday, 8 June 2016
Hey guys! I was so happy when I was contacted by Smile Brilliant to try and review their at-home teeth whitening kit. My teeth weren't necessarily very yellow, but they were missing that white sparkle they once had. I'd tried a teeth whitening kit once before but the experience wasn't great (more on that later), so I was excited to see the results I'd have with Smile Brilliant. Keep reading to find out more about the product and my thoughts on it.
PRODUCT REVIEW: DERMATX MICRODERMABRASION TREATMENT*
Wednesday, 1 June 2016
I'm back with another skincare review! and this time it comes in the form of an at home microdermabrasion treatment that is designed to fit your skin type. I was kindly asked by DermaTX to try and review their product and having never used one before, I was excited to see the results. Having relatively normal skin (after going through my teenage phase of oily and spotty skin) I was recommended to use the DermaTX Rejuventate System which is designed for normal/sensitive skin - which I could say I have too seeing as anything makes my face red.
5 ACAI BOWL RECIPES USING FOCUS SUPERFOODS*
Tuesday, 31 May 2016
We live in a generation where everyone has become more concerned with their health, eating well and all the latest foodie trends, one of which are the very fruity and colourful Acai bowls. The acai berry is found in south and central america, and is full of antioxidants and omega 3 making it a great superfood. I got sent some Acai Berry powder to incorporate into my superfood smoothies and desserts. The key to creating a thick, almost froyo like consistency is to use frozen fruit in the mix. Here are some of my favourite recipes using the focus supplements!
When it comes to dieting and weight loss, my problem isn't cutting out fatty foods so much, it's more that I love carbs and find that salads and soups usually don't do the job when it comes to keeping me full until the next meal. This is where Forza Hydratrim comes in, allowing me to keep hunger pangs at bay and keep me satisfied for longer.
